Research and Development

Our Chairman of the Board, Mr. Wang Yong, is Dean of our Technical Research & Development Center, with the General Manager and a Deputy General Manager as Vice Deans. Occupying an area of 500 square meters, our research facilities are valued at USD1,740,000, and are equipped with advanced instruments used for product development and testing.

Comprised of 4 sections (Design Office, Laboratory, Information & Network Dept., Market Development Dept.), we have 21 staff in this facility. These personnel include a holder of a Doctor's degree, 3 senior engineers, 5 engineers, 11 assistant engineers and 90 part-time staff; who are engaged in product testing and control of manufacturing processes.

In recent years, our staff have made the following achievements:
1) Consecutive crystallization technique gained success and passed technical evaluation, with this technique filling a gap in this field and obtaining a patent
2) Comprehensive utilization of wastewater during the process of starch production, and accomplishment of "zero emissions" pollution control
3) Gained a Chinese patent for our pH-controlled consecutive spray liquefaction sugar-making technology
4) Gained a Chinese patent for our consecutive ion-exchange technique for use in the starchy sugar industry

Our R&D orientation:
1) Use continuous de-waxing techniques to produce superior corn oil
2) Use bio-technology to process dextrose liquid so as to realize high added value
3) Re-use qualified wastewater in order to protect groundwater resources
4) Research and develop the by-products of corn starch to enhance added value of this product
